Brand Name magazine

Brand Name magazine is a brand new online editorial, aiming to bring the immersive experience of printed magazines to the screen. The magazine focuses on the field of graphic design and some of its branches, such as web design and illustration. It is for designers, and has a designers’ point of view. It works with issues, which means that while news and reviews are updated regularly, there’s also a portion of the site that is completely aesthetically renewed once per month. This can be seen in the embellishing graphics, some of the featured content and a couple of interactive games and workshops.

This month, Jonathan Barnbrook is the designer of the issue. His work can be seen on the parts of the site that are themed around him, and his bio and portfolio are present. The works of Jonathan Barnbrook have been remixed to create collages that translates his visual expression into interface design. The game and workshop are in the spirit of his work as well; create your own collage, or pair together Olympuke icons in a game of Memory.

This is a university assignment. The colourful art and graphic work on the interface were made by Jonathan Barnbrook and has in some cases been remixed.
